Ingatestone Hall is a Grade I listed 16th-century manor house, built by Sir William Petre
Church of St Andrew, Greensted-jixta-Ongar. The oldest wooden church in the world and the oldest wooden building standing in Europe. The nave of this Saxon church is built of logs.
